Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on the 20th of July, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers everything, starting with NASA, the Space Force and commercial space companies to the advent of space tourism. Kristin is mother of NASA astronauts and a space enthusiast has spent her entire childhood within the space industry. She spent five years in the position of White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy in the Biden and Trump administrations. In that period, Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings, the 2020 Presidential campaign as well as efforts of two administrations in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. The former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan in a trip that was highly restricted. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned the Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before joining CBS in the year 2015. Utilizing her expertise behind the camera, Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014, which specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients, such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science Diploma in Journalism from Boston University. The place she lives is Washington, D.C., with her entire family, which includes their daughter, who is three years old.
